Spicy Nigari Tofu Vegan Recipe
This quick snack can double as a light lunch. Add quinoa for a full meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 package Nigari Tofu (firm)
- 1/2 - 1 Spanish Onion (chopped)
- 1 large tomato (chopped)
- 1 tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp sea salt
- Nutritional Yeast (2 small handfuls or more for desired taste)
- Grapeseed oil or Coconut oil (2-3 Tbsp)
Directions:
- Drain and rinse tofu. Chop into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan at med - high heat.
- Fry tofu in pan with salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast for 3-4 minutes until lightly crisped.
- Add tomato and onion, and cook until desired softness of onion is achieved 2-3 minutes.
